SAUVIGNON BLANC AROUND THE WORLD
Sauvignon Blanc is one of the most widely planted grape varieties in the world and arguably the single most fashionable white variety on the planet right now.
We are all familiar with the extravagant style found in Marlborough, New Zealand and maybe the more restrained style found in Sancerre, in the Loire Valley, but that is only the start of the selection of wines from around the world which will be on show.
Nick Adams MW will introduce this variety and take us through a range of varied styles and explain how the influence of the winemaker has transformed them. Not least, we will look at how food friendly this grape is and enjoy that pairing practically with a specially designed menu created by Head Chef Pramod Jadhav.
