Things to do locally

HUNTINGDON is not a tourist destination, but does have The Cromwell Museum, Houghton Mill (NT) only 5 miles away, and lovely easy walking all around us.

CAMBRIDGE. The world-renowned University City is only 20 miles away (along the newly re-built A14).

STAMFORD and BURGHLEY PARK are just over half an hour up the A1.

ELY. One of England’s great cathedrals is 45 miles away. It’s a similar distance to the great archaeological site of Flag Fen; the unspoilt nature reserve at Wicken Fen; the magnificent National Trust estate of Wimpole Hall.
