CHRISTMAS WINE FAIR SUPPER
Sunday 26th November 2023, 7pm
Hearty, rustic dishes, served on big communal tables in the Dining Room.
A “wine table” in the room; you can choose from a myriad of odd bottles and left-overs from the tasting.
It’s a relaxed party with which we round off our fair; a chance to taste and drink lots of different wines whilst having a hearty dinner with old friends and new. It’s important to stress that it’s not a tutored or themed wine dinner; it’s in the style of a meal at a French wine harvest.
Please only come if you think this will suit you, as it will be busy and rather noisy!
Menu:
Smoked mackerel pâté and chicken liver parfait, served family style with sourdough toast
Coq au vin with bacon mash potato, roast root vegetables and tenderstem broccoli
British cheese with chutney and homemade biscuits
Passion fruit and lemon steamed pudding
Tea, coffee & homemade biscotti
£79.00 per person, includes wine of many sorts until coffee is served

Our Wine Fair Supper is limited to 42 guests, but we will be serving our normal Sunday Steak Night and A La Carte menu in the Restaurant
